Stay AI is a forward-thinking subscription management platform built to help Shopify merchants grow smarter. With tools powered by AI, it supports e-commerce brands in smarter customer retention strategies, seamless integrations and advanced analytics, making the most of recurring revenue.
The goal was to redesign their website so it could match the smart, modern feel of the product, while also making their offering more intuitive and inviting for the customers.
Project Scope
Stay AI had a strong platform, but their existing website wasn’t quite pulling its weight when it came to user experience. Certain parts of the layout were visually heavy, making it less intuitive for visitors to process the content quickly. Navigation felt broken with glitchy menus, and the colors lacked the energy to fully reflect the clarity and innovation that Stay AI wanted to convey.
The task was clear: rethink the structure, smooth out the user journey, and refresh the visual style—without losing the core identity of the brand. We needed to bring in a layout that would guide users more naturally, refine the color design to keep things fresh but familiar, and fix the interactive elements that were causing friction.
Process and Result
The project followed a step-by-step approach, starting with a close look at the existing website to identify usability challenges and areas for improvement. From there, our team moved on to restructuring the layout—placing content in a more logical flow and simplifying the navigation so users could move through the site more naturally, without friction.
With active input from the Stay AI team, we started with several visual styles, from more restrained to vibrant and experimental, seeking a balance between forward-thinking design and user confidence. We kept the brand’s original color palette but gave it a modern lift—adding more vibrancy and contrast to help content stand out and make the interface feel more alive.
At this stage, we also prepared master screenshots of key pages to set the foundation for the design system. These screens helped to test how the chosen style works in real user scenarios—from landing pages to internal pages.
On the technical side, we resolved performance hiccups like a glitchy header menu and made sure everything worked reliably across devices. The site was built on WordPress with JavaScript, allowing for flexibility and easy updates in the future.
The Stay AI team was closely involved at every step, sharing clear feedback and helping shape the direction as the project moved forward. Their input made the process smooth and collaborative, allowing us to fine-tune the details and stay aligned with their goals.
With the redesign, Stay AI’s digital presence speaks the same language as its product—clear, confident, and future-ready.
