The Club for Growth, based in Washington, DC, is a conservative organization that works to promote economic policies that benefit all Americans. Their key focus areas include cutting taxes, eliminating the estate tax, advocating for limited government, pushing for a balanced budget amendment, reforming entitlement programs, supporting free trade, limiting lawsuit liabilities, promoting school choice, and deregulating industries. By working towards these goals, the Club for Growth aims to drive economic growth and prosperity for all.
Scope of Work
The client sought to revitalize the visual identity of two chapters: the Club for Growth and the Club for Growth Foundation. With an outdated brand and website user interface, the client was looking to introduce a fresh new design system and update page layouts to better align with their updated marketing strategy.
To streamline the website development process, the client elected to stick with WordPress and requested the creation of a set of templates for internal pages. This would empower the marketing team to more easily create new pages and improve the overall efficiency of the website.
In addition, a new framework was introduced to create new website graphics, providing a consistent and professional look across digital and print materials, such as brochures and pamphlets.
Process and results
To ensure a successful rebranding and website redesign, we began by conducting extensive brand positioning and strategy meetings with the client. Through these meetings, we were able to gain a deeper understanding of the client’s marketing goals and objectives for the next three years.
With this information in mind, we set out to create a new and improved structure for on-page content, as well as explore ways to refresh the existing brand identity. We developed mood boards and page prototypes that aligned with the new marketing strategy, and used them as a foundation for creating a cohesive and unified design system for both the website and marketing graphics.
For a seamless integration with the client’s existing website platform, we elected to work with WordPress and created a set of templates that could be easily edited and customized by the client’s marketing team. We also implemented a visual editor tool to make it easy to create new graphics and maintain consistency across all marketing materials.
